I’m a storytelling wedding photographer
Growing up in Camarillo, California I always knew I wanted to tell stories — I just didn't know yet what form that would take. I came to Arizona State University in 2018 chasing that instinct, graduated, and spent the next couple of years as a news reporter in Santa Barbara covering everything from high school sports to weather to whatever chaos the day decided to bring. The work was fast and relentless and I think I was good at it, but somewhere along the way I realized that being good at something and feeling good at something are two very different things.
I've been with my wife since August of 2020, got down on one knee in Central Park in October 2024, and married her in November 2025. She has always been my biggest fan in everything I pursue and she is the reason I understand firsthand what it means to have love that genuinely feels safe. That matters more than I can explain when it comes to the work I do, because I'm not just photographing weddings but photographing that feeling of two people choosing each other in front of everyone they love.
Outside of wedding photography I run Soundbaked, something I built from scratch because I genuinely believe that local musicians deserve a real platform and a real audience. Soundbaked brings independent artists into an intimate setting, gives them the space to perform and be heard, and documents the whole thing with the same documentary eye I bring to everything else I shoot. It started as a passion project and has grown into something I'm incredibly proud of — a creative community built around the idea that music and stories deserve to be seen.
I know how fast a wedding day moves and how overwhelming it can feel when you're in the middle of it. By the time the night is over there are entire moments you didn't catch — a look across the room during the vows, a hand squeeze before you walked down the aisle, the quiet laugh right after the ceremony ended when it finally hit you that you actually did it. My job is to find those moments before they disappear and give them back to you in a way that feels real.
When I'm not shooting or trying to build something, my wife and I are usually at home — which is genuinely our favorite place to be. We have two cats named Angus and Birdie who run the house whether we admit it or not, and we spend a lot of evenings cooking together, listening to music, and occasionally sitting in the dark on the couch with a glass of wine taking turns playing songs and trying to one-up each other. We love to travel and we love getting out with our rooftop tent when we can. I have a long-standing dream of camping the Oregon Coast and when that finally happens you will absolutely never hear the end of it.
My brain genuinely never stops. I'm always creating something, always working on the next idea, always building toward whatever comes next. But as much as I love the push of making things and the energy that comes with it, there is nothing better than coming home to my wife at the end of a long day and turning all of it off completely. That balance is everything to me.
That's ultimately why I love this work. I love watching love grow in real time, and I want to help tell your story in the most honest and beautiful way I know how. Everyone deserves love that feels safe and steady and completely their own. I found mine, and I want to help you show yours.

Everything I shoot, I shoot with purpose. As a film photographer who shoots on digital as well, I learn to prioritize meaningful moments, and let everyone in my space relax.
All bookings are full day coverage, so we don’t have to worry about squeezing everything in.
